When I learn something new, I like to read it again and again .
For example, when I learn some new words, I always read them a lot
that help me to remember. Some days ago, I bought a new laptop. I
didn't know how to setup. I read the instrution and followed it step by
step. Finally, I made it. At school, whenever I meet a problem, I
check the book first.
Rather than watch the news on TV or listen to the radio, I prefer
to read the newspaper. I'm a visual !

Setting up laptops is hard! I'd probably do what you did -- try, but then read the manual and get help.
