Tinker's farm

There were a father and a daughter from England in 1800 to America to get a better life. When they arrived New York port,they wants jobs for living,then the father asked a young man where I can get the jobs,the young man pointed to a man and said,"asked him to get your job, he is a farmer he will give the job" then the father asked for a job to the farmer. The farmer looked at him and his daughter and said "you both can get the job in my farm." Then the father worked in the field and the daughter worked in the kitchen with an Indian girl. They got two Dollars each week. The father told his daughter he don't want this work any more he wants work in his own farm. One day the Indian girl invited his daughter visited her Indian's village,on the way they heard a boy cried for helped in the river,the daughter jumped in to the water and saved him from water.
Then three young people went back to the Indian village and told about the happen to the Chief. The chief felt glad and thank that she saved his son,and asked her what desire did she wanted for saved his son. The daughter remember her father wanted to own a farm. She answer to the chief "I don't want anything, but my father dreams to have a farm." Then the chief gave the farm to her father. They were began their new life in America.
This story told us how hard in those time the new comer came to America.
