City College’s course is near the end of this semester. In my mind, doing homework the teacher gave us is very important, and also is students’ responsibility. I think only reading the text book and doing homework is not good enough. I was thinking about how to improve my English reading and writing in different ways. So, I changed my mind recently. I try to find out which way is good and better for me to improve my English quickly.
Finally, I decided to read children’s fiction books. My daughter has many children’s books. I chose these books to read. These fiction books look easy. Actually, they are difficult for me. I learned complete sentences from books. Some people might think these books are for children and so too easy for adults. Here I have to say, “English is my second language.” I’m not good at using it excellent. I need to practice how to use tenses correctly. I want to make my English perfect. To do something is better than do nothing.
